Overview

Herzog Contracting Corp. is currently seeking a detailed, highly organized Project Coordinator in St. Joseph, MO to join our team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage workforce planning activities, including maintaining employee profiles, project assignments, and staffing requests while supporting project staffing plans and scheduling alignment
  • Facilitate regular resource planning meetings and produce weekly reports to provide visibility into staffing needs and support executive decision-making
  • Administer and continuously improve construction management systems, including managing user access, maintaining templates, and supporting project setup and configuration
  • Provide system training and ongoing support to internal teams, troubleshooting issues and promoting best practices across platforms
  • Review current software applications within National Construction division and assist with development of dashboards, standard operating templates and future technology strategy opportunities
  • Generate, analyze, and interpret data related to workforce performance, resource allocation, and operational trends, including forecasting workforce needs for upcoming projects
  • Partner cross-functionally with Operations, HR, estimating, and leadership teams to support staffing strategies, recruiting efforts, and organizational alignment in a dynamic project environment.
  • Assist in the development / tracking of standard operating practices and training plan for employees within the division.
  • Maintain strict data integrity and confidentiality across all systems while proactively identifying opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality are a requirement for this position.

Travel:

  • Up to 50% travel

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in construction software (P6, Procore, MS Project, and Microsoft Office Suite.)
  • High proficiency in MS Excel and MS SharePoint.
  • Working knowledge of Power BI.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

  • Successfully complete and maintain any required safety certification and testing on an annual basis.
