Material and Equipment Directly Used Daily use of personal computers, phones, and other computer and printer equipment, and appropriate tools used in the maintenance and repair of computers. Working Environment/Physical Requirements The majority of work is performed in a professional office setting and is generally sedentary. There will be some physical labor, moving equipment, pulling lines, etc. Must possess vision to read printed materials and a computer screen and to correspond via email; must possess hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the phone. Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. Education High School diploma required. Education or Experience equivalent to an Associate’s Degree or Higher in an information technology related field. All applicants must pass a drug screening and criminal background check prior to employment. Any job offer made by the City is contingent upon the applicant passing the drug screening and background check.
