JOB TITLE: Asset Management Coordinator DEPARTMENT: Public Works & Transportation DIVISION: Public Works Administration SALARY: Negotiable CLOSING DATE: Until filled Job Summary/Scope Oversees the department's asset and work management programs and ensures the accurate collection and reporting of infrastructure asset data, including training on each system, report generation and analysis of data for management decision making. This position plays a key role in managing infrastructure data, spatial analysis, and asset tracking through ArcGIS Software, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and OpenGov/Cartegraph. This role supports planning, operations, and maintenance efforts by ensuring accurate and efficient data integration for asset lifecycle management. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Materials and Equipment Directly Used Uses a wide range of materials and office equipment such as computer with various software applications, printers, and copiers. Also uses a wide range of tools when conducting asset gathering in the field. There may be times when use of personal vehicle may be required. Working Environment/Physical Requirement Work is performed in an office setting with a controlled environment. Required to perform field visits in a wide range of weather conditions. Must be able to routinely lift objects weighing up to thirty pounds, occasionally lift objects weighing 50+ pounds with assistance. Some overnight or day travel may be required for business purposes. Vacation and other leave scheduling shall be requested of and approved by the appropriate supervisor. Education Associate’s degree in GIS/AUTOCAD or related field preferred. Minor in GIS/AUTOCAD/Program Management or related field preferred. Bachelor’s Degree in GIS/AUTOCAD/Program Management or related field preferred. All applicants must pass a drug screening and criminal background check prior to employment.
