| Position Title: Cashier Department: Parks, Recreation & Civic Facilities Division: Swimming Salary: $15.00hourly Closing Date: Until Filled Job Summary/Scope Responsible for the processing of all incoming funds, as well as justifying daily cash reports. Must monitor entrance gate at all times. Seasonal employment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Other Duties and Responsibilities Performs all other related duties as assigned. Required (Essential) Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Material and Equipment Directly Used Computer, cash drawer, and receipt printer for POS procedures. Cleaning supplies and equipment used in maintaining the booth/gate area. There may be times when use of personal vehicle may be required. Working Environment/Physical Requirements Work is performed in an outside setting, including cold, dust, dirt, exposure to chemicals and extreme heat. Must be able to stand, walk and sit for extended periods of time. Some overnight or day travel may be required for business purposes. Vacation and other leave scheduling shall be requested of and approved by the appropriate supervisor. Education Any prior experience or any combination of formal education and work experience, which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Must be at least 15 years of age. All applicants must pass a drug screening and criminal background check prior to employment. Any job offer made by the City is contingent upon the applicant passing the drug screening and background check.
