Angus Media, a wholly owned subsidiary of the American Angus Association, is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Sales Support Specialist to support Corporate Sales and the Account Manager in delivering advertising and marketing solutions.
This role focuses on organizing the details behind the work, including proposals, scheduling, and execution logistics. The Sales Support Specialist helps ensure campaigns across print, digital, and events are set up correctly and delivered on time.
Your ability to stay organized, manage details, and support multiple teams will make a meaningful impact. This role plays a key part in helping sales efforts translate into clear, well-organized work that can be executed effectively by internal teams.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support Corporate Sales and the Account Manager with day-to-day coordination of advertising and marketing work.
- Prepare proposals, media kits, and advertising packages aligned with customer needs.
- Support ongoing communication between clients, sales and internal teams on questions, campaign updates and timelines in a clear and organized way.
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries, requests, and follow-up needs, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Build and manage insertion orders, schedules, and timelines for ads and campaigns.
- Track available inventory and assist in building media packages.
- Use HubSpot to maintain accurate records of proposals, orders, timelines, and account activity, ensuring clear visibility across teams.
- Coordinate logistics across print, digital, and event channels to ensure work is set up correctly.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity, contracts, and pipeline information.
- Monitor timelines and help ensure deliverables are completed on schedule.
- Support communication between sales and internal teams by providing clear and organized information.
- Assist with reporting and tracking campaign performance as needed.
- Stay informed on industry trends and support new opportunities when needed.
- Provide general administrative support to keep sales efforts organized and efficient.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines at once.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working across teams and supporting multiple stakeholders.
- Understanding of marketing, advertising, or sales processes.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- A team-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Agriculture, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 2 – 5 years of experience in sales support, coordination, or a related role preferred.
- Experience working with advertising, media, or marketing processes is preferred.
- Background in agriculture or the beef industry is preferred.
