Angus Media, part of the American Angus Association, is looking for a creative and customer-focused Graphic Artist/Advertising Coordinator to join our team! In this position, you’ll take ownership of your client accounts, serving as their go to contact and guiding their advertising projects from concept to completion. You’ll help craft eye catching ads (primarily print), working closely with our production and sales teams, as well as external partners, to make sure each project is accurate, on brand, and delivered on time.

Your ability to listen, communicate, and offer thoughtful recommendations will make a big impact. You will help strengthen client relationships, increase customer satisfaction, and contribute to the continued growth of Angus Media. The ideal candidate thrives on collaboration, enjoys problem solving, and takes pride in delivering excellent service.

This role plays an important part in supporting our business growth, elevating the Angus Media brand, and maintaining strong, long-lasting client relationships. You will also contribute to sales through proactive outreach and by helping clients see the value of high-quality advertising.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Learn about each client’s industry and business activities to offer more personalized solutions.
  • Collaborate on promotional events or advertising materials that support the account and meet the client’s goals.
  • Work with colleagues to design creative campaigns or other projects in line with the standards discussed with clients.
  • Design ad layouts that complement a breeder’s current sale book or develop a new look based on information provided or gathered (breeder’s website, Facebook, etc.).
  • Work with other coordinators, sale managers, and breeders to set the visual style of each ad campaign, ensuring it aligns with Angus Media and American Angus Association guidelines.
  • Assist with the preparation, organization, and design of promotional materials or events.
  • Manage multiple jobs at various stages of completion; interruptions are frequent, and the workload can be heavy with varying deadlines.
  • Suggest innovative ideas to help increase sales and improve customer experience.
  • Resolve problems and handle client concerns in a timely, professional manner.
  • Ensure all budget, project expectations and time requirements are met.
  • Complete administrative tasks and maintain accurate records of client accounts.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Well-organized and responsible, with strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to visualize the final product throughout the design process.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud applications (especially InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator).
  • Excellent communication skills to support effective collaboration with co‑workers and clients.
