Weekend Shift Preventive Maintenance Tech

Schedule: Friday–Sunday, 6:00 PM–6:00 AM
Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor

Position Summary

The Weekend Shift Preventive Maintenance Tech supports production by performing equipment cleaning, setup, mechanical work, and preventative maintenance to ensure CNC and laser equipment run safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Install slats and skeletons

• Clean slats and rebuild slat‑cleaner components

• Manipulate laser beds/towers

• Empty dust collectors and laser trays

• Replace forks and guides

• Keep machines and work areas clean

• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes

• Perform daily/weekly/monthly preventative maintenance

• Follow all safety procedures and SOPs

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED

• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications

• Able to use gauges, scales, and measurement tools

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Computer proficient

• Comfortable around CNC machines

• CNC experience is strongly preferred.

• Mechanical aptitude

• Ability to follow SOPs and work independently

• Pre-employment drug screen and physical required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

• Ability to stand and work for 12-hour shifts

• Frequent bending, climbing, and reaching

• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
