Purpose of Position: Assist Altec Supply Account Managers with price quotes, order entry, and technical product support.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare price quotes, order entry, and technical support for customers and Account Managers
• Maintain account history for each order
• Support outside sales team
• Maintain customer and competitor history files
• Assist in tracking shipments and other customer inquiries such as back orders or billing discrepancies
• Work directly with customers to obtain specific billing information, price quotes, and orders while covering for Account Managers
• Work with warehouse personnel to ensure critical orders ship on time
• Handle/answer calls routed from the Call Center
• All other duties as assigned

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Minimum of two years industry specific or Customer Service required
• Above average attention to detail required
• Proven ability to prioritize work and meet tight deadlines required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
• PC skills using spreadsheet, word processing, and other office management applications required
• Two years successful experience in a related sales position preferred
